ABOUT ME
MY STORY
In the dynamic world of fashion, my journey has been shaped by a profound commitment to creativity, sustainability, and a thirst for new experiences.
My journey began when I was a kid, digging through my mom's closet and going on shopping sprees with her around the world. As I grew older, I went from simply enjoying fashion to dreaming of seeing my own designs in top stores like Barneys and Bromberg's.
Then, something special happened. I discovered the beauty of sustainable fashion. During my internship with Alabama Chanin from August 2018 to 2019, I learned the ropes of fashion production. I played a key role in the Patagonia project, and this experience gave me hands-on insights into the fashion industry and sustainability practices. It was a game-changer.
From July 2017 to August 2021, I worked as a Seasonal Merchandising Specialist and Sales Representative at a fine jewelry store, Parker Bingham. I thrived in curating and managing inventory, built great relationships with customers, and even took on the role of designing and managing their website and Instagram. This experience deepened my understanding of retail, design, and customer engagement.
And now, my journey continues with a creative design internship at FERRAH, a sustainable fashion brand founded by Lela Orr, from May 2023 to August 2023. At FERRAH, I got my hands dirty with everything from pattern making and production to styling and brainstorming ideas for photoshoots. It was a fantastic opportunity that pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me grow as a designer.
I'm on a mission to blend fashion with sustainability, creating clothes that let you express yourself while being kind to the planet.
